EQUINE OPTIMEAL
Equine OptiMeal is specifically formulated to provide a palatable, cost effective complete feed that also includes the essential vitamins and minerals required by horses living in WA’s unique conditions.
It is a concentrated feed designed to be mixed dry or dampened, with oaten, wheaten or lucerne chaff in a daily or twice daily hard feed. It is recommended the horse also has access to roughage, hay and/or pasture.
Suitable for use in all ages and all levels of work. NO MOLASSES. No extra sugar means OptiMeal is a cool feed suitable for sensitive horses. A complete feed – a nutritious source of protein and energy with macro and micro minerals in a balanced and palatable formulation. Contains electrolytes that are needed to assist in hydration. Contains Biotin for hoof development and vitamins A, B and D for energy, eyes and coat with vitamin E as an antioxidant useful in muscle function. With added Selenium, an essential mineral often deficient in WA pasture and hay.
Feeding ratio of 2.5 – 3 chaff to 1 Equine OptiMeal. Equine OptiMeal can be mixed with chaff and fed dry or dampened. Ensure horses have access to fresh, clean, cool water and adequate hay/pasture at all times.
Recommended Daily Intake:
200 – 500g per 100kg of bodyweight. Feed according to age, condition and workload. Suitable for all types of horses with no need for extra supplements.
